The Rain: DESTROYER

          The Rain: DESTROYER

Weather changes like a mood.
In the month of May, we’re caught in unexpected rain.
But it’s not funny at all.

For some, it may feel romantic—
But for others, it’s not.

Rain destroys everything:
Homes, trees, the climate,
Even the tender feelings of human beings.

Some may delight in its rhythm,
While others sit silently by the window,
Watching each drop fall from the sky,
From the branches—
And sometimes, from their eyes too.
Yes, even those tears count.

People say it rains because of our sins.
Are we really sinners?
Perhaps, yes—
In someone's story,
Not through robbery,
But through betrayal.

Betrayal—
Heavier than any sin.

Rain, often seen as a lover’s companion,
Becomes a destroyer
To daily labourers,
And broken hearts,
Trying to rebuild,
Trying to heal.

Dear Rain,
Please fall in your given time.
Don’t try to destroy anyone’s life.
