I Slept and Woke Up in Kasara
I Slept and Woke Up in Kasara
Once upon a time, a girl named Florence got a proposal from a well-known businessman named Clyde. The boy was really very dashing, with dark blue eyes and what not.
Florence said yes to the proposal. It was arranged by her parents. She was a professor, and he was into pharmacy. As the days passed, he told her, “Let’s meet, sweetheart.”
She gently replied, “Yes darling. I will catch tomorrow’s first train heading towards Kasara.”
Kasara — a beautiful place with scenic beauty, covered with mountains of peace, waterfalls of hopes, and mystical roads of imagination in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra.
Soon, she reached the station, and the handsome man with dark blue eyes, was standing right in front of her train compartment.
The way he hugged her — she forgot all her problems.
They started to forget it was an arranged marriage. They turned their arranged into love marriage.
They reached his place, had breakfast, and went to visit his pharma company.
As the sun set, they returned, had dinner, and went to sleep.
After a few hours, a message from him came:
“Sweetheart, let’s go eat something. I’m hungry.”
She replied, “Darling, it’s 12:30 a.m.!”
He said, “Babe, in Kasara, shops are open till 4 in the morning. Now let’s go!”
He took her to his favorite places to eat.
They had momos, rolls, Chinese, and mocktails, of course.
She said, “Darling, I’m full.”
To which he replied, “Sweetheart, Mango Mastani ke liye jaga hai kya??”
She was like, “Oh my God — Mango Mastani in Kasara?”
“Yes, in Kasara,” he smiled.
“Great! Let’s have it then,” she beamed.
They both raised a toast and said:
“Mango Mastani for the win of our sacred relation!”
They returned home safely and slept.
So that’s how —
"I slept and woke up in Kasara."
Moral-
Sometimes we all are happy in our dreams but that isn't counted as a part of reality. So be happy whether in dreams, in fictional world or in reality. And live a peaceful life.
