ADVENTUROUS NOVEMBER...

             Adventurous November...

I never understood the “November theory,” but when I spent this time with my people, I finally realised what it meant. It all started with boarding the 6:05 am Borivali local. I reached school, and then the adventure began as we boarded the bus for our picnic destination.

Our school picnic was organised for Children’s Day at Tikuji-ni-Wadi, Thane. I was in Bus No. 5. Finally, the time came to leave. On the way, it was fun watching the mountains pass by—covered with beautiful green trees that carry hope and faith within them to stand strong despite the air and noise pollution on Ghodbunder Road. Soon, we finally reached our destination.

After checking in, the fun truly began. We had our breakfast and headed out to see the beauty of Tikuji-ni-Wadi. The pools, the slides, and the rain dance were all the fun we needed.

Then came the photo sessions. Soon it was lunchtime. And after that, the real adventure began at the amusement park.

Our first ride was the Toy Train—where we sat and enjoyed like small kids.
Our second adventure was the Elephant Ride—those tiny elephant seats taking us gently up and down in the air were surprisingly so much fun.
Our third was the Spinning Coaster—damn, that coaster was dangerous but enjoyable too! We tied our seatbelts and it began. The way we screamed… oh God, I will never forget those precious moments. Up, down, zigzag—but all fun.
Our fourth adventure was the Dashing Cars—I was scared at the start, but soon it became exciting.
Our fifth was the Giant Wheel—high in the sky, going up and coming down, again and again.
Our sixth and last ride was the Air Cycle—pedalling in the sky, enjoying the peaceful mountains, the beauty of hope all around, and our children shouting from below. It felt crazy, but in the best way—something we teachers did on Children’s Day and will remember for long.

After that, it was time to relax, and soon we began our journey back to school with heavy hearts and pockets full of memories—memories that we will cherish later when we miss our good old times spent with our favourite people.

Though it was Children’s Day, we teachers enjoyed just as much. Our inner child was truly happy that day.
