NOSTALGIC SEPTEMBER...
Nostalgic September…
Rainy mornings, a hot cup of coffee, romantic weather—what else do humans even want in their lives? Nothing, right?
It was 20th September, a Saturday, my favourite day of the week. I woke up early because I was going to Bandra with my girls. I boarded the Churchgate local, and soon we finally reached our destination.
First, we headed to Burger King, had our breakfast, and then it was time to catch the bus to the miraculous Church of Mount Mary. We boarded the bus, enjoying the aesthetic beauty of Bandra—the great SOBO-attitude humans, greenery all around, and yes, the schools too. The mind-blowing cafes were simply beautiful.
And then we finally reached the holy place, the main character of the day—THE MOUNT MARY CHURCH. We attended Holy Mass, which was much-needed. Blessings for all three of us. The peace of mind, the heart full of hope, and the wish for things to get better in life—this was our main intention and petition to our beloved Mumma Mary. We took Mumma’s blessings, bought sweets, and picked up a few more things.
After that, it was time to visit our second beloved place—Father Agnel’s Ashram. We took blessings and left.
Then it was time to witness the breathtaking beauty of Bandra’s Bandstand. We clicked snaps, and the peace and silence stole our racing hearts and minds. Calm and cool, we enjoyed the moment and then left in search of food.
We headed to the most famous aesthetic restaurant, FOO. The interior, the beauty, and the photogenic design were truly amazing. We ordered, ate, and left.
Next, we visited the goated bakery J. Hearsch for some go-away snacks—tarts and Shrewsbury biscuits. Soon, we headed to our last stop, the great Linking Road, for some street-style shopping. Exploring Bandra’s streets, we shopped until it was finally time to head back home.
We boarded the Virar local and returned with lots of memories, tons of photos, dull faces, and yes—empty pockets too.
I will never forget the great Nostalgic September.
