Be My Lighthouse
Be my lighthouse,
Guide me through every step—good or bad—
As a ship sails at night with hope,
Trusting the lighthouse to lead the way.
The captain fears not the darkness,
Nor the jagged stones or passing ships,
For the lighthouse stands unwavering,
A beacon of trust in the vast ocean.
But I am afraid of the darkness in my life.
Be my lighthouse—guide me through,
Help me sail across this endless sea.
Be my lighthouse in troubled times,
For I do not know how to make decisions when storms arise.
Stand strong, shine bright, and lead me forward.
Be my lighthouse,
Walk with me through life’s journey—
At least till I turn eighty-five.
Then, I can leave this world in peace,
Knowing I was guided by my steadfast light.
